Construction Risk Mitigation, LLC (CRM) was formed in November of 2007 by Dale Marston and Edward Herndon as a service and consultation company to reduce the risks associated with the budgeting and funding of real estate development projects prior to and during construction. CRM assists owners, developers, financiers, insurers/bonding agents and contractors on all types of construction projects ‐ from stand alone single‐family houses to multi‐story commercial towers. Services provided by CRM include construction progress inspections, project specific consulting and risk management to ensure a project’s feasibility and viability from an economic standpoint.
CRM utilizes wireless advances in technology to deliver reports directly from the job site in a paperless format to allow the customer to receive reports in real time. It provides equity, loan structure, project cost and development consulting for clients who want a service friendly and one‐on‐one partner with their project from the planning stage onward. CRM also provides regular analytical assessments of funding rates to minimize construction risk once a project has started – comparing total job (soft and hard) cost completion versus the status of equity and loan funding.
